1.0.0-beta-10 Released
Version 1.0.0-beta-10 Released
This is our first foray into posting about new server updates. As we're in the Alpha stage, updates are happening nearly every day, with major and minor changes. When the server is open, these will be much more methodical. Right now, I wanted to give a brief look at what has changed since the first Play Test. We've included a highlights section, which is directly from the devs, and then a more automated look at every change that has happened - generated from our development tracking software Jira (for those who know, you know.) If you were experiencing an issue, you can also check if it was resolved in the Known Issues page.
Major Highlights
As you know, Play Test 1 was a rough first iteration of our server. We've since put a lot of effort into taking on your feedback and also installing a lot of the things that were missing. Some key highlights:
- Brand new HUD & Interface that is much more minimalistic
- Entire new Character Creator that is more intuitive and friendly
- New Dealerships for Cars, new garages and now mechanics
- Brand new drugs system for committing drug related crime
- Introduction of owned restaurants etc.
- Completely re-vamped phone system.
- Brand new prison system.
- Many bugs fixed.
This is the version we have going into Play Test 2. We know there are still a few small things missing / things that need tweaking before we go into the Beta, but we're super happy with where we're at.
For those that are interested, here's an automated (AI Generated) look at all of the changes made from our development tracking system. (Consider it release notes style.)

New Features and Improvements
This update brought a range of exciting new features and upgrades to help enhance the experience for all our players:
Promo Codes for Everyone
We’ve rolled out a brand-new promo code system, allowing players to redeem codes for in-game perks. This is a small but impactful addition that we hope to use for special events and community engagement.
Custom Weapon Shop
After researching different options, we’re moving away from the default QB weapon shop. Our custom weapon shop is designed to add more variety, with better integration into the overall RP experience.
Police Force Revamp
Custom police cars, more advanced policing actions, and a new siren system using Luxart Vehicle Control are now in place. We’ve moved police station trigger points to their correct locations, and the City Hall ped has been replaced to reflect our branding and a whole new Prison system has been put in place.
Banking and HUD Overhaul
We’re shifting away from BD-HUD to TGG-HUD for a sleeker in-game display. .
Housing and Real Estate
Updates to ps-housing and ps-realtor bring both scripts up to version 2.0, giving players a more polished experience when purchasing or managing properties.
In-Game Report System
We’ve introduced a new report system, allowing players to report issues in-game without needing to jump out into Discord or external tools. Your feedback goes straight to the team for quicker resolution.
Economy and Stores Tweaks
We’ve adjusted the items available in 24/7 stores and introduced liquor sales in specific shops. You can also bulk purchase ammo from the weapon store, and we’ve fine-tuned the hunger and thirst decay levels for more balanced gameplay.
Fishing for Fun
We’ve added a fan-favorite fishing script, making it easier to chill out by the pier and engage in some peaceful fishing amidst the action.
More Jobs, More Content
We've added new jobs like mt_restaurant
, mt_easyruns
, and mt_postman
, as well as updated scripts for garages, dealerships, and a new lottery system.
Squashing Bugs
Alongside these features, we’ve been working hard to clean up the bugs that can disrupt your gameplay. Here are some of the key fixes:
Character Issues Resolved
We’ve fixed issues with characters facing the wrong way on the selection screen, characters being evaluated as null, and deleting characters not working properly on the multi-character screen.
Vehicle Fixes
LS Customs should now properly repair vehicles, and we’ve made tweaks to stop police vehicles from disappearing. We’ve also limited police vehicles to ensure the right number is available for each type.
Ammo and Weapons Shop
We addressed issues with rifle ammo not working correctly in the gun store, and fixed problems with purchasing bulk ammo.
UI and HUD Adjustments
Conflicts between the OCRP postal map and the minimap have been sorted, and we’ve also disabled ps-hud’s version of the speedometer and seatbelt functions to avoid duplication.
General Polishing
From fixing promo code issues to adjusting test drive times and addressing wallet script problems, we’re ensuring everything runs smoothly. Even John Cena’s bank balance has been set back to normal!
